Established in the early 1970’s, Vermack is one of Dunwoody’s finest swim and tennis clubs. Our youth swim team is consistently ranked among the best in the area and our adult and youth tennis programs attract players of all levels. During the summer pool season, we pride ourselves on having a wide variety of fun and inclusive social events with the opportunity to meet other members and include your friends.

Frequently Asked Questions about Membership

Do I have to live in Dunwoody to be a member?
No, we are open to anyone living in the metro-Atlanta area.  

What is the cost to join?
Vermack is a non-profit equity based membership club. Upon being accepted for membership, there is a one-time equity contribution fee of $1,700, in addition to our $700 annual dues. 50% of the equity contribution is refundable to members in good standing when they resign the club, subject to the terms of the Club’s By-Laws.  Join / Pay Dues!

What does membership include?
Members have access to all club facilities, including the pool, tennis/pickleball courts, and playground. During the summer, we offer a variety of family and adult-only social events, some at no additional charge. Members are also able to join club ALTA/USTA (youth & adult) tennis teams and reserve courts up to a week in advance.  

I don’t play tennis, can I join as pool-only member?
No, we only offer full tennis/pool memberships and do not have senior, singles, pool-only, or tennis-only memberships.

How many guests can I bring to the pool or to play tennis and is there a guest fee?
Members are limited to thirty six (36) guest visits per year (pool & tennis). There are no guest fees, other than special events (casino night, ladies cocktail night, etc.).

When does the pool open for the summer?
The pool typically opens in mid-May and closes for the season on Labor Day.
